Changwon Special City Awards 11 Outstanding Public Officials for Proactive Administration to Enhance Citizen Experience
Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam held an awards ceremony for public officials who promoted exemplary proactive administration cases in the second half of the year.
View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Song Jong-gu] Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam held an awards ceremony on the 14th to recognize and encourage the efforts of public officials who promoted the ‘2022 Second Half Active Administration Best Practices.’
To foster and spread a culture of active administration, the city selected outstanding public officials by finalizing 3 top winners, 4 excellence winners, and 4 encouragement winners from 25 active administration cases recommended by citizens and all departments, through external expert evaluation and a citizen vote involving 2,068 participants.
The top winners were Kim Dong-hyeok and Lim Su-hyeon, officers from the Social Welfare Division who established a seamless COVID-19 living support payment system, and Lee Do-hyeong, an officer from the Masan Sewage Center of the Sewerage Business Office who solved road flooding issues and perfectly prepared for typhoons.
Excellence awards went to Kim Neum-i, team leader, and Kim Ok-jong, officer from the New Transportation Promotion Team; Kim Hee-young, team leader of the Landfill Management Division; and Song Ji-eon, officer from Seongsan Library. Encouragement awards were given to Nam Ki-myeong, team leader, and Yeom Eun-jeong, officer from the Traffic Policy Division; and Kim Nam-sook, team leader, and Min Kyung-jin, officer from the Masan Health Center’s Health Management Division.
The city presented the outstanding public officials with mayoral certificates and monetary rewards, along with personnel incentives.
