"Health Condition is Fairly Good"
Director James Cameron (68) contracted COVID-19 while promoting his new film, "Avatar: The Way of Water," overseas. Distributor Walt Disney Company announced the positive diagnosis on the 13th (local time), stating that his health condition is "fairly good." Cameron recently visited the UK, Korea, and Japan in succession ahead of the release of "Avatar: The Way of Water." He met fans while attending events such as premieres and red carpets. He began experiencing symptoms on the flight back to the United States. After testing positive, he missed the Los Angeles (LA) premiere on the 12th. For the time being, he plans to promote "Avatar: The Way of Water" online. This is the sequel to "Avatar," released after 13 years. It will premiere worldwide starting in Korea on the 14th.
