[Asia Economy Reporter Kwon Jae-hee] NCSoft is showing weakness in the early trading session amid expectations that its new release will coincide with that of a competitor.
According to the Korea Exchange on the 13th, as of 9:58 a.m., NCSoft is trading at 430,500 KRW on the KOSPI, down 8.01% from the previous trading day.
Blizzard has decided to release 'Diablo 4' on June 6 next year, setting it up to compete directly with NCSoft's new title 'TL'.

Kim Ha-jung, a researcher at Daol Investment & Securities, analyzed, "If NCSoft does not adjust its release schedule, it is highly likely to face a direct confrontation with Diablo 4," adding, "Given the high chances of Diablo 4's success, NCSoft may face a strong competitor, which could lead to user attrition."
