hy, 'Predit Delivery Service' Surpasses 1 Million Cumulative Orders
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] hy announced on the 13th that the cumulative delivery volume of its last-mile delivery service 'Predit Delivery Service' reached 1 million as of last November. It has been 7 months since the business was fully launched, with an average monthly delivery volume of 150,000.
Predit Delivery Service is a new business utilizing hy's own logistics network, expanding the delivery range to include both company-produced products and purchased goods. hy plans to increase the processing volume and achieve 5 million deliveries annually starting from May next year, when the Nonsan logistics center is completed.
hy cited the 'Fresh Manager' workforce of about 11,000 as the core of Predit Delivery Service. They communicate with customers to adjust delivery times and respond in real-time to customer requests such as returns. By applying a cold chain system during the distribution process, freshness can be maintained until just before delivery. It enables the delivery of products that are difficult to handle, such as fruits, lunch boxes, and salads. Notably, it is economical as it does not require essential materials for low-temperature maintenance like Styrofoam or refrigerants. Recently, due to regulatory improvements by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, delivery of packaged meat has also become possible, and the range of handled items is expected to diversify.
