According to the Ministry of SMEs and Startups on the 13th, this year's Win·Winter Festival will be held from the 16th to the 25th, with a total of 215 channels participating, including 193 online platforms such as internet malls, home shopping, and delivery platforms, and 22 offline channels, involving about 47,000 companies.
The Win·Winter Festival, now in its fourth year, is an event aimed at promoting consumption and revitalizing the economy of small business owners through on- and offline sales promotions. The event slogan is "Everyone benefits, full of happiness."
Online shopping malls will conduct various promotional and sales events by channel, such as issuing discount coupons and live commerce. A total of 115 private and public online shopping mall channels, including 11st, Wemakeprice, Interpark, and local government malls, will operate special sales events offering discounts of up to 50%, including discount coupon issuance and time sales.
About 390 traditional markets will also participate in special online sales events on platforms such as Naver, Coupang Eats, and Easywell, offering free delivery and prize events depending on the order amount.
In addition, O2O platforms such as Baedal Minjok, Wemakeprice O, and Coupang Eats will support about 7,000 small business owners struggling with offline operations through consumer paybacks, discount coupons, and delivery fee support.
Promotion of small and medium-sized business products through offline channels such as traditional markets, shopping districts, local commercial areas, and public distribution networks will also be conducted simultaneously. To revitalize traditional markets and reduce the burden of living expenses, Onnuri gift certificates have been on special discount sale since the 1st of this month.
All three types of Onnuri gift certificates, including rechargeable card-type gift certificates, mobile, and paper gift certificates, will have a 10% discount rate applied throughout December, and the purchase limit per person will be raised to a maximum of 1 million KRW per type.
More than 2,200 Baeknyeon Gage (Century-old stores) and Baeknyeon Sogongin (Century-old small artisans) will also hold prize and discount events linked to local festivals, and a lottery and prize event worth a total of 700 million KRW will be held during the Win·Winter Festival period to raise consumer interest.
Furthermore, during the Win·Winter Festival period, private companies and public institutions will hold bazaars for small and medium-sized business products in 10 regions nationwide, planning to donate part of the proceeds to welfare facilities. Fifty-five online platform channels participating in the event have expressed their intention to donate part of the proceeds from the event planning exhibition to welfare centers, children's centers, and other marginalized groups.
