CJ OnStyle is conducting warm sharing activities for neighbors and the environment, ranging from the taste-sharing employee volunteer activity ‘On-gi-wasshyong’ to ‘Protect the Environment GO’, the ‘Onhwa Project’, and donations.
On-gi-wasshyong is a taste-sharing volunteer activity in which CJ OnStyle employees can participate, planned with the purpose of sharing warm energy with neighbors at the year-end. They prepared a total of six year-end volunteer activities, including braille posters to help visually impaired children study braille, handmade sock cushions for the elderly, and kimchi sharing messages delivered to elderly living alone in Bangbae-dong. In addition, employees also participate in environmental practice volunteer activities in daily life. They choose and practice desired activities such as deleting emails and recycling Hetbahn containers, and verify their participation.
They also promote donations of goods in connection with organizations supporting the independence of vulnerable groups. For ‘Kia Daechak Happy Sharing’, which helps single mothers and people with disabilities become independent, CJ OnStyle’s private brands (PB) Baskia Brooklyn and Atssential, as well as Fila and Puma, are sponsored. For ‘Beautiful Store’, which supports the independence of children aging out of care, products from Daniel Cremieux and Oilily are donated.
Furthermore, they actively practice the value of neighborly love by sponsoring Oh Haru natural products to the nationwide food bank that distributes food to vulnerable families across the country. In addition, they carry out diverse donation activities, including participating in the 2022 CJ Group fund of the Community Chest of Korea.
Moreover, CJ OnStyle recently completed the ‘Onhwa’ project, a community-based social contribution activity. The Onhwa Project is an initiative by CJ ENM, Bangbae Senior Welfare Center, and university student supporters to alleviate generational conflicts and revitalize the local commercial district in Seocho-gu. Videos, webtoons, and storybooks created by combining the content expertise of employees and the ideas of university student supporters were posted on the social media channels of the Bangbae-dong Senior Welfare Center.
