At Least 3 Dead in Apartment Explosion on Jersey, British Crown Dependency
[Asia Economy International Desk Reporter] At least three people have died in an apartment explosion on the British Crown Dependency of Jersey in the English Channel, according to major foreign media including the BBC on the 10th (local time).
The police announced at a press conference that around 4 a.m. that day, a three-story apartment building on Jersey collapsed due to an explosion, resulting in at least three deaths. Two injured people who were transported to the hospital have been discharged, and one is reported to be receiving treatment. Fire authorities stated that 20 to 30 nearby residents were evacuated and that they plan to search for anyone trapped in the debris.
