At Least 3 Dead in Apartment Explosion on Jersey, British Crown Dependency

The police announced at a press conference that around 4 a.m. that day, a three-story apartment building on Jersey collapsed due to an explosion, resulting in at least three deaths. Two injured people who were transported to the hospital have been discharged, and one is reported to be receiving treatment. Fire authorities stated that 20 to 30 nearby residents were evacuated and that they plan to search for anyone trapped in the debris.

Earlier, the police received reports of a large explosion in the early morning. One resident said the bed shook as if there was an earthquake and a loud noise was heard.
