Strengthening Cyber Threat Response Capabilities... Busan Port Information Security Council Conducts Phishing Email Response Drill
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Busan Port Authority (BPA) and the Busan Port Information Security Council, composed of 10 terminal operators at Busan Port, will conduct a hacking email response drill for the first time throughout December.
The council was jointly launched in 2019 by Busan Port Authority and terminal operators to improve the information security level of Busan Port and ensure 24-hour uninterrupted operation, and it carries out activities such as sharing the latest cybersecurity threat information and diagnosing security management systems.
This simulation drill plans to send phishing emails containing training malware to employees of terminal operators to check the response system such as opening and reporting.
Moreover, it will not be a simple one-time drill but will be made into a regular training to further strengthen Busan Port's information security response capabilities.
