Gyeongnam Bank Enables 'ZeroPay Contactless and QR Image Payment Service' Without Merchant Visit
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Jonggu Song] BNK Gyeongnam Bank has launched the ‘ZeroPay Non-face-to-face & QR Image Payment Service’.
This service allows users to process ZeroPay gift certificate payments non-face-to-face through the BNK Gyeongnam Bank mobile banking app without visiting the merchant.
Previously, payments had to be made by scanning the QR image displayed at the ZeroPay merchant location.
With the service launch, users can now pay by searching for ZeroPay merchants or by loading QR images of ZeroPay merchants stored in their photo album.
To use the service, access the BNK Gyeongnam Bank mobile banking app, tap the ‘ZeroPay’ menu at the bottom of the main screen, select ‘Purchase & Payment’ for mobile gift certificates, and then choose either the non-face-to-face payment or QR image payment method.
