The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy selects companies that have contributed to pioneering overseas markets and increasing exports every year on 'Trade Day' and awards the 'Export Tower'.
Hyundai Movex led with smart logistics automation, rapidly growing its export performance 5.5 times from 7.6 million dollars in 2019 to 42 million dollars in 2021. This year, it surpassed 30 million dollars, achieving its first 'Export Tower' milestone.
At a time when exports are more important than ever, it contributed to exports through smart logistics packed with advanced technology. It is highly evaluated for pioneering overseas markets with purely domestic automation technology and enhancing global competitiveness.
Hyundai Movex has 7 overseas subsidiaries and branches in China, Southeast Asia, and other regions. It has actively targeted the global smart logistics market and is focusing on expanding its overseas business.
So far, it has concentrated on Asian emerging markets centered on tire process automation and low-temperature logistics centers, where it has technological superiority. Going forward, it plans to significantly expand its global business areas, including secondary battery equipment, targeting advanced markets in the Americas and Europe.
