Busan Port Authority Creates Safe Passage Route Throughout Gamcheon Port ... Secures 5.3km Walkway and Installs 40 Crosswalks
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongguk Lee] Busan Port Authority (BPA) has established safety walkways throughout Gamcheon Port to prevent accidents involving pedestrians entering and exiting the port.
This time, the existing safety walkways along a 3.5 km section including the east side wharf of Gamcheon Port, Dadae Wharf, Government Vessel Wharf, and Samhan Quay were newly painted to enhance visibility.
As a result, safety walkways have been secured in all sections of Gamcheon Port, increasing the total length to 5.3 km when combined with the existing sections.
To improve the usability of the safety walkways, BPA newly installed 40 crosswalks on the lanes within the wharfs.
