The "Visiting Museum" is a program where curators visit schools or groups that find it difficult to visit the memorial hall in person to provide education and hands-on experiences.
The Bakjin War Memorial Hall recreates the site of the Battle of Bakjin, the last stronghold of the Korean War. It was established to correctly recognize the reality of national division and to inherit and develop the patriotic spirit of the fallen heroes.
The memorial hall is located near Bakjin Naru, where the Battle of Bakjin took place, making it a more meaningful location. It exhibits videos of the Battle of Bakjin, weapons and documents used at the time, and daily necessities.
However, since it is located in a place with poor accessibility, making it difficult for visitors to come, the "Visiting Museum" program is being promoted this time.
The Visiting Museum program consists of ▲Understanding the Korean War ▲Learning about the battles that took place in the Changnyeong area at the time ▲Coloring a coloring book.
An official from the memorial hall said, "Through the Visiting Museum, people will be able to learn about the Korean War and the battles that took place in the Changnyeong area at that time, inherit the patriotic spirit, and foster a sense of love for their hometown."
