National V-World Contest Awards 3 Winners in Landmark and Small Area Categories

In this competition hosted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and the Spatial Information Industry Promotion Agency, third-year architecture students at Changwon National University swept awards in three categories.
In the Landmark category for students, the team of Jeong Seongyun, Yoon Seongbae, and Kim Taemin won the Excellence Award; in the Small-scale Area category for students, the team of Park Jooyoung, Kim Hyeongwoo, and Lee Sangjun won the Excellence Award, and the team of Kim Jongyun, Kim Junmyeong, and Choi Minsu received the Encouragement Award.
The V-World competition, which connects virtual and real worlds, was held to raise public interest in V-World, Korea's spatial information open platform, and to share and utilize 3D spatial information held by both public and private sectors.

Professor Choi Jeongmin of the Architectural Engineering major said, "It is significant that the results of the Architectural Engineering Applied Design course, conducted as a capstone design subject within the university, were submitted to V-World, enabling the provision and utilization of 3D-based spatial information."
