[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] Samsung Electronics announced on the 1st that 100 units of the 'Galaxy Z Flip4 Maison Margiela Collaboration Edition' sold out in just 8 seconds on the limited edition trading platform 'KREAM'.
This product, created in collaboration with the French fashion brand Maison Margiela, features the signature color 'Solid White.' The rear design of the device is inspired by the 'D?cortiqu?' technique, which appears to expose the internal components externally. The number 11, representing the accessory line, is circled.
The UX theme incorporating Maison Margiela's unique design is also included. It is offered in two concepts: a black-and-white inverted phone theme and a paintbrush motif. The package also includes a Bianceto leather cover, a silicone numbering case with a four-stitch design, a travel adapter, and a data cable.
The Maison Margiela edition is priced at 2,255,000 KRW, which is 781,000 KRW more expensive than the standard Galaxy Z Flip4 512GB model's retail price of 1,474,000 KRW, but due to its limited edition nature, it is observed to have attracted high demand.

Samsung Electronics is also conducting a purchase lottery on its official website until 6 PM on the same day. The winners will be announced at 9 AM on the 2nd, and those selected can purchase the device between 9 AM and 1 PM on the same day. Samsung maintained the lottery format, as it did with the 'Galaxy Z Fold3 and Flip3 Thom Browne Edition' in August last year.
