University Career Platform 'Linkareer' Achieves Cumulative Sales of 5.1 Billion KRW This Year... Record High Performance
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] Linkareer, the career platform for university students and job seekers, announced on the 29th that it recorded sales of 1.7 billion KRW in the third quarter, achieving cumulative sales of 5.1 billion KRW this year.
Linkareer’s consolidated sales for the third quarter of 2022 increased by 19% year-on-year to 1.7 billion KRW, and operating profit rose by 167% to 320 million KRW. This is the highest performance for a single quarter since the company was established in June 2020. The cumulative sales and operating profit for the first to third quarters of this year increased by 27% and 164% year-on-year, respectively, reaching 5.1 billion KRW and 1.4 billion KRW, surpassing last year’s operating profit of 500 million KRW within nine months.
The main factor driving this growth in performance is the increase in users of the Linkareer platform. Linkareer’s Monthly Active Users (MAU) surpassed 700,000 in March and 1 million in June this year, steadily increasing and approaching 2 million users.
Users increased by offering customized services such as categories closely related to university life like extracurricular activities and contests, as well as a job announcement calendar and community functions for job seekers.
The utilization of Linkareer by corporate recruiters also increased. Following over 1,600 companies joining as new members last year, more than 2,100 new corporate members were added by the third quarter this year. Various companies of different sizes, including startups, small and medium-sized enterprises, large corporations, and public institutions, have been recruiting excellent new talent through Linkareer.
