Incheon City Reappoints Incheon St. Mary's Hospital as Operator of Metropolitan Dementia Center
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyesook] Catholic University Incheon St. Mary's Hospital has been reselected as the private consignment institution for the Incheon Metropolitan Dementia Center.
Accordingly, Incheon St. Mary's Hospital will continue to operate the Metropolitan Dementia Center, which it has managed from 2019 until this year, through 2025.
As the contract for the Metropolitan Dementia Center, operated under private consignment, is set to expire next month, Incheon City recently held a public contest for a new consignment institution.
A Private Consignment Eligibility Review Committee, composed of dementia-related experts, evaluated the hospitals that applied, and Catholic University Incheon St. Mary's Hospital was finally selected as the private consignment institution for the Metropolitan Dementia Center.

The Metropolitan Dementia Center carries out tasks such as establishing dementia management project plans, research and surveys, resource surveys including dementia-related facility infrastructure, and education and training for personnel. It will also promote the Brain Health School and the Incheon-type Senior Memory Care Project.
