KT Alpha Shopping Provides 20 Million KRW Sponsorship for Youth Baseball

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Jeon Jinyoung] KT Alpha Shopping announced on the 29th that it has donated a total of 20 million KRW to support a youth baseball team that includes children with disabilities.
Since 2017, KT Alpha, together with the KT Group Hope Sharing Foundation, has continuously provided economic and cultural support activities for young baseball hopefuls for six years.
On the previous day, KT Alpha invited representative students and their families from the Best One Baseball Team to the ‘2022 kt wiz Fan Festival’ held at the Suwon Convention Center and held a ‘Love Donation’ ceremony.
Players Ko Young-pyo and So Hyeong-jun, who finished 4th in this year’s regular league, each recorded 13 wins, raising 500,000 KRW per win, totaling 13 million KRW. Adding KT Alpha’s sponsorship, a total of 20 million KRW was donated.
The donation will be used through the KT Group Hope Sharing Foundation to provide necessary baseball equipment and activity expenses for the Best One Baseball Team students, and will also be used for social contribution activities such as inviting students from local children’s centers to professional baseball games in the future.
