The National Police Agency announced that, anticipating around 30,000 people gathering at Gwanghwamun Square to support the national team match starting at 10 PM, they will deploy 150 regular police officers, about 700 officers from 12 riot police units, and 20 special forces. The police also expect gatherings ranging from 500 to 5,000 people at Incheon Dowon Football Stadium, Suwon World Cup Stadium, Anyang Sports Complex, Uijeongbu Sports Complex, and Uijeongbu Shinhan University Indoor Gymnasium, and will strengthen safety management by deploying riot police and special forces at these locations.
Additionally, the police plan to focus on maintaining order around the street cheering venues and anti-terrorism safety activities while cooperating with local governments and event organizers. A police official stated, "As with the previous match against Uruguay, we expect citizens attending the street cheering for the Ghana match to demonstrate mature awareness of order."
