‘Happy for Everyone’ Gyeongbuk Yecheon-gun Civil Service Office Selected as National Happiness Civil Service Office

View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Koo Dae-sun] The Comprehensive Civil Service Office of Yecheon-gun, Gyeongbuk, has been selected as a 'National Happiness Civil Service Office' by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.
The National Happiness Civil Service Office is a system in which the Ministry of the Interior and Safety evaluates 26 items across four categories?internal and external environment of the civil service office, civil service satisfaction, staff friendliness, etc.?targeting 245 administrative agencies nationwide, including metropolitan and local governments, city and provincial education offices, and the National Tax Service, and certifies outstanding institutions.
Yecheon-gun was finally selected as a National Happiness Civil Service Office after a total of four stages of evaluation, including a document review in July, an on-site inspection of the civil service office in September, undercover evaluation, and civil service satisfaction assessment.
Yecheon-gun has made various efforts to create a civil service office where everyone can be happy, such as reorganizing convenience facilities for socially vulnerable groups including nursing rooms, writing desks for the disabled, help bells, and civil service assistants; operating honorary interpreters for foreigners in Vietnamese and Chinese; and strengthening digital civil service services such as Kakao chatbot service and voice-converted barcode VoiceEye.
