LIG Nex1 (CEO Kim Ji-chan) was recently certified by the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs (Minister Park Min-sik) as an excellent company hiring discharged soldiers.
The ‘Excellent Company Hiring Discharged Soldiers Certification Program’ is a project introduced by the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs in 2015 to encourage corporate interest and voluntary participation in hiring and nurturing long-term discharged soldiers.
The Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs awards a certification plaque of ‘Excellent Company Hiring Discharged Soldiers’ to companies that are proactive in hiring discharged soldiers, provide excellent employment environments, and strive to enhance the capabilities of their hired personnel. The certification is valid for three years.
LIG Nex1 received excellent evaluations among a total of 37 companies that applied for certification, categorized into large enterprises (9 large enterprises, 1 public institution, 27 small and medium enterprises). The Ministry awarded certification plaques to these certified companies.
LIG Nex1 currently employs 156 long-term discharged soldiers, including 12 newly hired this year.
