Yeonggwang-gun to Launch 'Hope 2023 Sharing Campaign' Starting Next Month

[Yeonggwang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jeonseong] Jeollanam-do Yeonggwang-gun (Governor Kang Jongman) announced on the 25th that it will carry out the 'Hope 2023 Sharing Campaign' from next month 1st to January 31st of next year.

Under the slogan "Sharing Together, Sustainable Future," this fundraising is accepted only through the Jeonnam Social Welfare Community Chest and media outlets, and donations can be made using the online reception window of financial institutions. The county's Social Welfare Division and eup/myeon offices will also act as collection agents.

The funds raised by the county are redistributed back to the county through the Jeonnam Social Welfare Community Chest and are supported in various fields that complement public welfare services such as emergency support, social welfare facility support, housing repair projects for low-income families, and support for neighbors in need.

Every year, the amount allocated to the county is more than 300% of the amount raised; the more funds raised, the more money is allocated to the county. The more people participate, the more benefits neighbors in need in the region can receive.

Governor Kang Jongman said, "The county is a warm area where the culture of sharing is activated, and I am confident that by practicing precious sharing through the 'Hope 2023 Sharing Campaign' being carried out this time, everyone's happiness will double."
