Daegu Health College Student Yi Ichang Receives 'Young Scientist Award' from Korea Radiation Promotion Association
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Koo Dae-sun] Yoo Yi-chang (24), a third-year student in the Department of Radiological Science at Daegu Health College, recently received the "Young Scientist Award," the President's Commendation from the Korea Radiation Promotion Association, at the "2022 Radiation Science Technology and Industry Promotion Annual Conference" held at the Gwacheon National Science Museum.
Now in its 21st year, the "Radiation Science Technology and Industry Promotion Annual Conference" is a gathering of domestic radiation experts to share trends in radiation technology, research and development achievements, and discuss the future direction of the radiation industry.
The Korea Radiation Promotion Association recognizes and rewards individuals with outstanding achievements in the radiation field at the annual conference.
At the event, Yoo was honored as a young scientist in the fields of radiation and radioactive isotopes for his contributions to radiation technology research and the promotion of the radiation industry.
