The number of new cases on this day decreased by 5,391 compared to the previous day (59,089). It increased by 4,280 compared to a week ago on the 18th (49,418).
The number of critically ill patients is 453, maintaining the 400s for the seventh consecutive day. As the number of severe cases rises, the government is securing hospital beds capable of handling 200,000 cases per day.
