[Asia Economy Yang Nak-gyu, Military Specialist Reporter] Shin Beom-cheol, Vice Minister of National Defense, met with Dominic Nitiwul, Minister of Defense of Ghana, at the Ministry of National Defense building to discuss defense and defense industry exchange and cooperation.
According to the Ministry of National Defense on the 22nd, this is the first visit by the Ghanaian Minister of Defense to the Korean Ministry of National Defense. Minister Nitiwul visited Korea to attend the Korea-Africa Defense Industry Cooperation Conference.
Vice Minister Shin evaluated that cooperation between the two countries is being strengthened with Minister Nitiwul's visit following the attendance of Kofi Amanquah Manu, Deputy Minister of Defense of Ghana, at the Seoul Defense Dialogue (SDD) in September this year.
