Pukyong National University Signs Agreement with Legendary Holdings and B-Dax to Foster SW Talent

View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] On the 21st, Pukyong National University signed an industry-academic cooperation agreement with Legendary Holdings Co., Ltd. and B-Dax Co., Ltd. in the president's office on the 3rd floor of the university headquarters to foster digital and smart software (SW) specialized talent.
Jang Young-su, president of Pukyong National University, and Kim Tak-jong and Ryu Hong-yeol, co-CEOs of the two companies, held the signing ceremony and agreed to cooperate in nurturing SW specialized talent active in the ICT and fintech fields.
According to the agreement, Pukyong National University, centered on the Digital Smart Busan Academy Project Group, plans to collaborate with each company on ▲ nurturing SW specialized talent responding to the advancement of the ICT and fintech industries ▲ consulting on education and training project curricula ▲ building industry-academic cooperation networks and sharing human and technical resources ▲ cooperating in field training, internships, and employment linkage for academy graduates.
Through this agreement, Pukyong National University expects that local youths participating in the Digital Smart Busan Academy education program will acquire expertise and practical skills in SW fields such as ICT and fintech, enabling the cultivation of talents demanded by related industries.
The Digital Smart Busan Academy Project Group is a project led by Pukyong National University, involving 12 institutions including local universities such as Dong-A University and Dong-Eui University and regional companies, aimed at nurturing SW specialized talents tailored to the on-site demands of local companies.

The project group was selected in the Ministry of Science and ICT's '2022 SW Specialized Talent Development Project' competition and was launched in June.
