The 3 major illegal acts are ▲closure and damage of emergency fire escape facilities ▲blocking of fire-fighting facilities ▲illegal parking and stopping.
On the 21st, the Gyeonggi Fire Headquarters announced that on the 22nd, it will conduct a simultaneous crackdown on the '3 Major Illegal Acts' targeting 94 large-scale buildings in the province. This crackdown was planned to strengthen prevention activities against large-scale fires during the winter season.
The Gyeonggi Fire Headquarters will deploy 94 personnel in 47 teams, including the headquarters, fire patrol teams from each fire station, and special fire investigation teams, to inspect department stores, shopping malls, and residential-commercial complex buildings with a total floor area of 15,000㎡ or more.
In addition, to prepare for similar situations, fire evacuation and securing evacuation routes, accident response guidance, and safety education will be conducted simultaneously.
Since the crackdown date was announced in advance, the Gyeonggi Fire Headquarters plans to apply a zero-tolerance policy and impose strict penalties if illegal acts are detected.
