View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Jeon Jinyoung] Daehong Planning announced on the 20th that it conducted a volunteer activity involving the delivery of winter protection supplies and bread-making to help marginalized neighbors have a warm and healthy winter in preparation for the severe cold season.
This volunteer activity was held in a customized manner at Jungnim Comprehensive Social Welfare Center in Jung-gu, Seoul, and the Eunpyeong Seodaemun Hope Sharing Volunteer Center of the Korean Red Cross in Eunpyeong-gu.
The Sharotte Volunteer Group, a volunteer team of Daehong Planning employees, sponsored winter protection sets including Lotte Confectionery home meal replacement (HMR) products and heated mats to energy-vulnerable individuals living alone in the Jungnim-dong area near Daehong Planning headquarters, and spent time packaging and delivering them directly. At the same time, they conducted a talent donation volunteer activity called ‘Sharing Bread of Love’ together with the Korean Red Cross. The bread made directly by the Sharotte Volunteer Group on that day was delivered to marginalized neighbors in the community through the Korean Red Cross.
