Yeosu Gwangyang Port Authority Signs Business Agreement with Korea Maritime Institute
To Establish an Organic Cooperative System and Strengthen Partnerships Between Parties
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Heo Seonsik] Yeosu Gwangyang Port Authority (President Park Seonghyun, YGPA) announced on the 16th that it signed a business agreement with the Korea Maritime Institute (KMI) to promote mutual cooperation and exchange.
This agreement was signed to establish an organic cooperation system and strengthen the partnership for policy research and implementation aimed at the development of the shipping, port, and logistics industries.
About 10 officials, including Park Seonghyun, President of Yeosu Gwangyang Port Authority, and Kim Jongdeok, President of the Korea Maritime Institute, attended the signing ceremony.
Through this agreement, the two organizations agreed to cooperate in ▲ sharing research results related to the shipping, port, and logistics industries ▲ YGPA’s participation and reflection of opinions in conducting research related to the shipping, port, and logistics industries ▲ supporting the overseas expansion of international logistics and domestic logistics companies ▲ policy development through regular seminars.
President Park Seonghyun said, “Through continuous exchanges with KMI, a specialized research institute, we will actively respond to future environmental changes and strengthen cooperation to promote major policy development, striving to grow Gwangyang Port into a more competitive maritime industry hub.”
