Gyeonggi Office of Education Sends Letter to Parents of 3rd Year Middle School Students in the Province Regarding Student Placement Plans Including 'General High Schools'
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Lim Tae-hee, Superintendent of Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education, will produce and distribute a letter-form guide on the assignment plan for late high schools to parents of 3rd-grade middle school students in the high school equalization areas within the province.
This letter is intended to help parents understand the student assignment method ahead of the application period for general high schools and autonomous public high schools in the high school equalization areas, which will be held from the 9th to the 15th of next month.
The letter includes contents such as ▲ the pre-application and post-lottery method ▲ step-by-step preference ranking and assignment method ▲ simultaneous application possible for foreign language high schools, international high schools, autonomous private high schools, and general high schools ▲ a request for accurate understanding of the student assignment method.
The letter will be uploaded on the websites of the education support offices and each middle school in the equalization areas. It can also be checked on the high school admission transfer portal of the Provincial Office of Education.
