JVM Unveils Next-Generation Pharmacy Automation System Featuring 'Robot Arm'
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-joo] JV M, a subsidiary of Hanmi Science, is unveiling a next-generation pharmacy automation system equipped with a multi-joint collaborative robotic arm.
JV M announced on the 16th that it will reveal its new product 'MENITH' at a corporate briefing held on the 17th and will launch full-scale marketing activities to enter overseas markets.
'MENITH,' a next-generation dispensing automation system independently developed by JV M, uses a multi-joint collaborative robotic arm to exchange canisters (containers holding medicines) and doubles the dispensing speed compared to the existing ATDPS (Automated Tablet Dispensing System), enabling dispensing of 120 packets per minute. It also integrates an automatic inspection function to minimize the dispensing process within pharmacies.

A JV M representative stated, "MENITH is a next-generation product optimized for dispensing factory-type pharmacies, which have become widespread overseas after the COVID-19 pandemic. While global demand for mass dispensing is rapidly increasing, pharmacy staff remain in short supply, so the unique efficiency of MENITH, which can quickly and accurately perform mass dispensing, will become increasingly prominent."
