Shinhan Bank Surpasses 20,000 New Non-Face-to-Face SOHO Business Loans
Establishment of New Non-Face-to-Face Corporate Loan Process Since February Digital SOHO Sales Department Opening
[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] Shinhan Bank announced on the 16th that the number of new non-face-to-face SOHO business loans through its Digital SOHO Sales Department has surpassed 20,000 cases.
The Digital SOHO Sales Department, which opened in February, provides data-driven customer management and customized financial consulting services by dedicated staff to individual business customers in Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Incheon regions who hold regional credit guarantee foundation guaranteed loans and Shinhan Bank's non-face-to-face SOHO loans (Solpyeonhan Business Loan, Shinhan Quick Settlement Loan, Ddaenggyeoyo Business Loan), targeting customers who prefer non-face-to-face channels.
Additionally, to enhance customer convenience, a non-face-to-face process was established that allows individual business customers to apply and execute loans via internet banking and smartphones without visiting the bank or guarantee institutions.
In particular, as of the previous day, the Digital SOHO Sales Department handled about 74% or more of all new non-face-to-face guaranteed loans of the bank, significantly reducing the workload of existing offline branches. Accordingly, Shinhan Bank plans to expand the dedicated customers of the Digital SOHO Sales Department from the metropolitan area to nationwide and increase the coverage of new products available through non-face-to-face channels.
Furthermore, Shinhan Bank plans to advance the work processes for new and renewal guaranteed loans by collaborating with regional guarantee foundations and utilizing digital technology, making it easier for individual business owners to handle banking tasks.
