Gwangju Police Implement Special Traffic Control for 2023 College Scholastic Ability Test
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] The Gwangju Metropolitan Police Agency and the Autonomous Police Committee announced on the 15th that they will provide transportation support and special traffic management for examinees taking the 2023 College Scholastic Ability Test.
The Gwangju Metropolitan Police Agency will deploy 371 personnel, including police officers and exemplary drivers, and 57 patrol cars and police motorcycles around major congested intersections within a 2km radius of 40 test sites in the region on the 17th, when the exam is held.
Traffic congestion is expected due to parents' vehicles transporting examinees, so vehicle access will be restricted 200m ahead of the test sites, and illegal parking and stopping around the test sites will be monitored in cooperation with local governments in advance.
In particular, if problems such as loss or non-possession of admission tickets or confusion about the test site occur, examinees can report to 112 or request help from police officers, and they will be promptly and safely transported to the test site by nearby patrol cars or police motorcycles, providing convenience for examinees.
