For Growth in Arts Education... Busan Dongnae Education Support Office Holds 'Happy Journey Opened by Arts and Culture' Workshop
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] The Dongnae Office of Education in Busan will operate the "Happy Together Workshop through Culture and Arts" for 51 elementary school teachers in the district on the 16th at the audiovisual room of Yeonsan Elementary School in Yeonje-gu.
The workshop aims to raise teachers' awareness of cultural and arts education and to lead qualitative and quantitative growth in cultural and arts education through sharing various cases.
The event will be conducted in two sessions: Session 1 titled "Empathetic Dialogue Connecting Life and Art" and Session 2 titled "How to Incorporate Experiences with Art into Education?"
In Session 1, the Busan Woodwind Ensemble will perform classical music and movie OSTs under the theme "Understanding and Enjoying Woodwind Quintet as Much as You Know."
Additionally, art columnist Jeong Yeon-eun will provide an opportunity to broaden perspectives on art in modern society through a lecture titled "A Walk through Masterpieces Connecting Humanities and Art."
In Session 2, presentations on teachers' practical cases of cultural and arts education will follow, including "Operating Culture and Arts DAY with Children," "Running Play-Integrated Arts Education Practice Classes," and "Operating Play-Integrated Arts Education Teacher Clubs."
