Renault Korea "Try the XM3 E-TECH Hybrid in Busan"
Anyone Can Participate at Busan City Hall Until the 18th
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Renault Korea Motors announced on the 15th that it will operate the XM3 E-TECH Hybrid test drive program in collaboration with Busan City.
This test drive program will be held at Busan City Hall for the general public until the 18th, on weekdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Participation is possible through the reception desk near the citizen meeting room located in the lobby of Busan City Hall. In addition to the test drive program for the general public, a separate test drive program for business vehicles is also being conducted during the same period for Busan city officials and City Hall staff.
The test drive course for this program is designed to start from Busan City Hall, passing through World Cup-daero and Yangjeong Station, covering about a 5 km urban section in Busan city. This allows participants to fully experience the driving characteristics of the XM3 E-TECH Hybrid, which can operate in electric vehicle mode up to 75% of the urban section.
The XM3 E-TECH Hybrid is equipped with a hybrid drive system closest to an electric vehicle, applying the hybrid technology know-how from the Renault F1 machine. This system offers up to 75% electric vehicle mode driving in urban areas, and depending on the remaining battery capacity and driving speed, it can drive 100% in electric vehicle mode for certain sections using the ‘EV mode button’. It also provides a ‘B-mode’ that, when the accelerator pedal is released, performs deceleration similar to engine braking while actively charging the battery.
