4·16 Minju Citizen Education Center, AI and Metaverse Education for Residents and Parents
[Asia Economy (Ansan) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The 4·16 Democratic Citizenship Education Center will conduct 'Why? Parent and Citizen Education with Writers' for parents and citizens in the province on the 7th and 14th of next month.
This citizen education program was planned to learn about the present and future of artificial intelligence (AI) and metaverse technology and to consider what preparations should be made to face the coming future.
The main educational topics include 'Metaverse, Breaking the Boundaries Between Virtual and Reality' and 'Artificial Intelligence, Entering the Human Domain.'
Those who wish to apply can submit an application form online starting from the 16th of this month. Detailed information can be found in the notices section on the 4·16 Democratic Citizenship Education Center website.

Jeon Myung-seon, director of the 4·16 Democratic Citizenship Education Center, stated, "In future society, while convenience will increase due to the metaverse and artificial intelligence, various unexpected problems will also arise," adding, "I hope this education will provide an opportunity to think about how to uphold the values of democratic citizenship in future society."
