N-SITRON Reports 16.7 Billion KRW in Cumulative Q3 Sales... "Increase in Non-Memory Semiconductor Sales"
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyungsoo Park] Non-memory acoustic semiconductor company NCITRON announced on the 14th that its cumulative sales on a consolidated basis for the third quarter reached 16.7 billion KRW. The company achieved performance surpassing last year's annual sales of 15.8 billion KRW in just three quarters. On an individual basis, cumulative sales amounted to 14.5 billion KRW, with an operating profit of 200 million KRW.
Despite concerns over economic slowdown, sales of acoustic semiconductors to major Chinese TV manufacturers continue to perform well. In particular, the B2B grain distribution business with Coupang showed high growth compared to the same period last year.
A company official explained, "The core business of acoustic semiconductors for TVs is driving external growth through strengthened sales networks and securing stable supply volumes," adding, "Semiconductors are mainly exported to companies in the Greater China region, benefiting from the rise in exchange rates."
NCITRON maintains high financial stability along with external growth. The company proactively reorganized low-profit businesses and completed large-scale fundraising up to the first half of this year. As of the end of the third quarter, liquid assets including cash exceed 30 billion KRW.
