Paulo Bento, head coach of the South Korean national football team, announced the list of 26 players who will participate in the Qatar World Cup at the Kyobo Life Convention Hall in Gwanghwamun, Seoul, on the 12th, including Son Heung-min's name.

The midfielders selected are Jung Woo-young, Son Jun-ho, Paik Seung-ho, Hwang In-beom, Lee Jae-sung, Kwon Chang-hoon, Jung Woo-young, Lee Kang-in, Son Heung-min, Hwang Hee-chan, Na Sang-ho, and Song Min-kyu. The forwards chosen are Hwang Ui-jo and Cho Gue-sung.
