Lee Jun-seok Speaks After Ten Days... "The Weight of the Two Words, Freedom"
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] Former People Power Party leader Lee Jun-seok resumed his social network service (SNS) activities after ten days. This drew attention as it came right after the Presidential Office announced its policy of 'prohibiting MBC from boarding the presidential aircraft.'
On the 10th, Lee left a brief message on his SNS saying, "The simplicity, weight, and difficulty of the two letters 'freedom'."
This was ten days after he proposed solutions to prevent recurrence through SNS immediately following the Itaewon accident on the 31st of last month.
Although Lee did not directly mention the 'MBC incident,' given the criticism that this situation infringes on press freedom, it is interpreted as a veiled criticism of the Presidential Office.
In particular, since President Yoon Seok-yeol has consistently emphasized 'freedom,' it appears that Lee also pointed out the president's contradictory attitude.
