Busan Science High School Hosts Lecture by Foreign Scholars ... Coinciding with the Visit of the World Microscopical Society General Assembly Inspection Team to Busan
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Busan Science High School in Geumjeong-gu, Busan, will hold an 'Invited Lecture by Overseas Scholars' for students and faculty in the school's main auditorium from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM on the 11th.
The lecture is being held to contribute to the local community in conjunction with the visit of the inspection team for the '20th World Microscopy Congress' to be held in Busan next year.
On that day, Professor Robert Sinclair from Stanford University, USA, will give a lecture titled 'From High School to Atoms to Science,' and Dr. Kazuo Furuya from the National Institute for Materials Science in Japan will give a lecture titled 'The Society of Microscopy in the World.'
Additionally, the development history of various microscopes and the latest research trends using them will be introduced.
