Transbeverage Opens 'Glengrant' Pop-up Store at Hyundai Department Store Pangyo Branch
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Transbeverage announced on the 10th that it has opened a pop-up store for The GlenGrant, Scotland's representative single malt whisky and Italy's best-selling brand.
The pop-up store, operating at Hyundai Department Store Pangyo branch until the 4th of next month, offers customers the chance to taste a variety of The GlenGrant products, which have become so popular that they are in short supply, during the VIP sessions. This is the first event of its kind held in Korea, and to commemorate it, all customers who purchase products on-site will receive an engraving service for either a GlenGrant bottle or a dedicated glass.
During the event period, from Monday to Friday each week, The GlenGrant brand ambassador will conduct whisky tasting classes, providing an opportunity to introduce various ways to enjoy whisky and its culture. The tasting classes are held twice daily and can be registered for through Naver.
The GlenGrant offers a complex array of flavors and aromas including fruit, floral notes, spices, oak, and nuts. Unlike other whiskies dominated by specific tastes and scents, it is characterized by its diverse flavors and aromas.
At this pop-up store, visitors have the special opportunity to taste The GlenGrant 15-year-old, which won the 'Scotch Whisky of the Year' award from Whisky Bible, as well as The GlenGrant 18-year-old, renowned for its sweet and spicy complex flavors and a long-lasting finish.
