Suwon City announced that on the 7th, Mayor Lee Jae-jun proposed promoting CPR training for those working in occupations that often come into contact with citizens, so they can respond quickly in crisis situations, during a meeting discussing the "Policies to Prevent the Recurrence of the October 29 Disaster."
At the meeting, Mayor Lee said, "CPR training for citizens should be expanded step by step," and suggested, "First, let's discuss and promote training with those who meet many citizens, such as public transportation workers, local security guards, designated driver service workers, and cleaning staff."
He added, "CPR training should be promoted for all Suwon City public officials, public institution employees, and members of related organizations."
