The one millionth guest was a family staying to enjoy a hotel vacation in celebration of their wedding anniversary. They were given a 10-night stay voucher for the Corner Suite (130㎡), the signature room of Grand Hyatt Jeju, and resort dollars worth approximately 3 million KRW, usable at 14 food and beverage outlets and other facilities.
The 999,999th and 1,000,001st guests were also provided with a 2-night stay in the Corner Suite and resort dollars worth 1 million KRW.
Hotel division sales increased from 10.9 billion KRW in the first quarter of the opening year to 29.2 billion KRW in the fourth quarter of last year, when all 1,600 rooms were fully operational, and continued to improve with 30.2 billion KRW in the first quarter and 34.1 billion KRW in the second quarter of this year.

A Lotte Tour Development official said, "With the continuous increase in domestic tourists and the reopening atmosphere, Jeju’s air routes are gradually reopening, raising expectations for a rush of foreign tourists." The number of foreign guests increased by 220%, from 3,747 in October last year to 11,989 in October this year.
