Hamyang-gun and Hamyang Fire Station Conduct Joint Fire Drill to Enhance Emergency Response Capabilities
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Hamyang-gun, Gyeongnam Province, announced on the 7th that it conducted a joint firefighting drill with the Hamyang Fire Station 119 Safety Center to strengthen on-site response capabilities in case of emergencies such as fire accidents.
This drill was conducted on the assumption of a fire caused by an electrical short circuit on the 2nd floor of the annex building of the county office's Safety and Urban Department. The drill proceeded in the order of spreading the situation after the fire occurred, evacuating employees and visiting civil petitioners, deploying the initial suppression team, rescuing and transporting patients, and dispatching fire trucks, with each team performing their assigned tasks as if in a real situation.
Additionally, after the firefighting drill, employees received cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training from the education officer of Hamyang Fire Station to improve their ability to respond in emergency situations.
