[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] Hampyeong County has awarded scholarships totaling over 260 million KRW to 126 students selected as Hampyeong County Talent Development Fund scholars for the second half of 2022.
According to the county on the 3rd, after review by the County Talent Development Promotion Committee, a total of 126 scholars were finally selected, including 117 local talent university students and 9 academically outstanding university students.
Earlier, the county conducted a review of eligibility requirements by the Hampyeong County Talent Development Promotion Committee for 133 applicants who applied through the recruitment announcement in September.
The Hampyeong County Talent Development Promotion Committee decided to select academically outstanding university students twice a year, including the second half, instead of only once in the first half, to provide scholarship benefits to more students.
Also, starting from this second half, the scholarship support scale was significantly expanded and reorganized to provide up to 3 million KRW within tuition fees equally regardless of whether the university is in the metropolitan area or non-metropolitan area.
