[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Sojinse, Chairman of Kyochon F&B, will retire next month.
According to industry sources on the 2nd, Chairman So's retirement ceremony will be held early next month.
Chairman So was appointed as chairman of Kyochon F&B in April 2019, and in March of this year, his term as a registered director ended, so he has only maintained the chairman position.
Chairman So previously served as head of merchandise and marketing divisions at Lotte Department Store, CEO of Lotte Midopa, CEO of Lotte Super, CEO of Korea Seven, and head of external cooperation at Lotte Group's policy headquarters.
Chairman So's retirement is known to be due to the return of the founder and former chairman Kwon Won-gang.
Former Chairman Kwon, who became chairman of the board in March this year, is reported to have expressed his commitment to responsible management amid domestic and international economic crises.
