'Kiwoom Irum Employment and Career Festival' to Provide Youth Employment Opportunities at Gwangju University
From 2 PM to 5 PM on the 9th
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Gwangju University (President Kim Dongjin) announced on the 2nd that it will hold the "2022 2nd Kiwoom Irum Employment and Career Festival," providing employment opportunities to local youth, from 2 PM to 5 PM on the 9th.
This is the second event following the first one held at Gwangju Women's University on the 25th of last month.
The event, held on the first floor of the Hosim Memorial Library at Gwangju University, aims to expand employment opportunities for local youth through a meeting place between local youth and excellent companies, as well as to help job seekers explore jobs and companies and establish systematic employment preparation strategies.
The fair, hosted by Gwangju City and the Gwangju Regional Employment and Labor Office and organized by Gwangju University’s University Job Center, Gwangju Economic Employment Promotion Agency, and Korea Photonics Industry Promotion Association, will feature an on-site recruitment hall, employment consulting hall, and employment policy promotion hall.
Additionally, side events such as one-on-one employment consulting at Gwangju University’s University Job Center and a personal color lecture for successful interviews will be held, along with an interview makeup & hairstyling booth, employment ID photo shooting booth, and an event hall where participants can experience color therapy and aptitude tests.

No Seonsik, head of the Hosim Employment and Startup Support Group at Gwangju University, said, “Various programs are being conducted for the successful employment of local youth as well as our university students and graduates. In particular, six companies including Korea Technology Development Co., Ltd. plan to hire job seekers through on-site interviews. We hope many citizens will attend.”
