Samyangsa SubQ, Free Release of Christmas Cake Recipes
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] SubQ has embarked on a path of mutual growth with local bakeries ahead of the Christmas season.
SubQ, a food ingredient distribution brand under Samyang Corporation, a subsidiary of Samyang Group, announced on the 1st that it has released eight new Christmas cake recipes developed by its affiliated pastry chefs on its website and distributed promotional posters.
The new recipes and promotional posters, jointly provided by SubQ and the Korea Bakery Association, have been ongoing for 10 years since SubQ's launch in 2013 to support small bakeries that find it difficult to develop new menu items compared to franchise bakeries.
The eight new recipes are characterized by evoking the warm and friendly atmosphere unique to neighborhood bakeries. In particular, inspired by Panettone, Italy's representative Christmas bread that takes a long time to prepare, they introduced the 'Panettone Christmas Cake,' which can be easily made using frozen raw dough, berries, and nuts.
