The city held an emergency countermeasure meeting chaired by the vice mayor at 11 a.m. on the 30th and announced on the 31st that Jinju City will maintain only exhibition-type events during the remaining festival period, canceling or postponing outdoor events.
Accordingly, the drone show and fireworks scheduled for the 31st will be completely canceled, and the fireworks on the closing day, November 3rd, will also be canceled.
Even though only exhibition-type events will be maintained during the remaining festival period, safety management personnel such as public officials will be deployed at more than twice the usual number to prevent all possible safety accidents on site.
