The 3rd Dongdaemun-gu Welfare Expo and Bokji Nuri Net Promotion Expo Held
Dongdaemun-gu to Operate Over 20 Experience and Promotion Booths at Cheongnyangni Station Plaza on November 2
[Asia Economy Reporter Jong-il Park] Dongdaemun-gu (Mayor Ilhyeong Lee) will hold the "3rd Dongdaemun-gu Welfare Expo and Bokji Nuri Net Promotion Expo" at Cheongnyangni Station Plaza on November 2 to provide various information related to welfare projects.
The Welfare Expo is an event hosted by Dongdaemun-gu and the Dongdaemun-gu Community Social Security Council to inform residents about social welfare-related projects and services. It has resumed after a three-year hiatus due to COVID-19.
The expo will be held on November 2 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Cheongnyangni Station Plaza. About 20 experience and promotion booths will be operated, with various attractions such as congratulatory performances and talent donation performances for participants.
The promotion booths will be directly operated by welfare institutions and facilities in various fields such as children and youth, housing, family, disabled, elderly, and community welfare. Each institution will promote its projects and services and conduct programs such as exhibitions and experiences.
Additionally, this expo is attracting attention by simultaneously holding a promotion expo for "Bokji Nuri Net," a newly operated welfare information sharing platform that allows users to easily check welfare-related news.
An online event for residents to participate in promoting "Bokji Nuri Net" will also be held. Participation is possible through the Dongdaemun-gu website starting November 2, and a small prize will be given by lottery to those who enter the event.
